National Association “Raspberry of Kosovo”

“Mjedra e Kosovës” was initially formed as a national association comprising small regional associations that primarily function as producer organizations. Consequently, the association can be characterized as an “inter-professional” association. Moreover, “Mjedra e Kosovës” counts the principal collectors, processors, and exporters of raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries among its members.

This dual membership structure positions the association as a commodity association, representing the soft fruit sector in Kosovo. This hybrid approach allows “Mjedra e Kosovës” to function both as a commodity and a value chain association, representing a comprehensive spectrum of industry players from producers to exporters, and potentially extending to related industries.
